Winter is just around the corner, and it is essential to store Agro-100 products safely and securely.
In addition to the regulatory storage requirements, here are the points to consider for optimal storage of Agro-100 products.
Control the storage temperature of Agro-100 products
If the storage temperature drops below freezing, certain reactions can occur. Very fine particles or crystals may then be found at the bottom of containers.
All products retain their guaranteed analysis after exposure to freezing; however, the crystals formed by freezing can accumulate in sprayer filters and interfere with their proper operation. The Agro-100 team has listed the products that are sensitive to different temperatures. You can find this information in the Stability to cold chart.
It is therefore essential to store certain Agro-100 products in a heated warehouse to keep product temperature above 4°C, reducing or even eliminating any risk of deterioration of these high-quality Agro-100 products.
Agro-100 adds colour pigments to certain formulations to tell them apart. Prolonged exposure to sunlight will deteriorate or alter these added colour pigments. This discoloration is purely cosmetic and in no way affects the quality of the products or their guaranteed analysis.
It is important to follow the manufacturer’s specifications regarding the maximum load when stacking Agro-100 containers.
When the load limit is exceeded, there is a risk of deformation and even breakage.
To ensure worker safety (sagging, collapse, falls, etc.) and to minimize unnecessary handling and product losses, certain standards must be followed.
For Agro-100 products, do not stack more than two pallets on top of each other:
