Agro-B mobility OP contains sorbitol, an osmoregulator directly metabolizable and native to the plant, that forms stable and soluble boron complexes to ensure optimal absorption by the leaves, fast translocation facilitating boron mobility and availability to all parts of the plant. Agro-B mobility OP is activated by Oligo Prime®, an innovative biostimulant technology that allows for quick absorption and translocation of nutrients and reinforces the plant’s natural defenses against abiotic stresses (drought, low temperature, salinity, etc.). It can be applied on leaves or on the soil based on soil or tissue analyses or as soon as deficiency symptoms appear. For more information on Agro-B mobility OP, consult your agronomic adviser.
Boron contributes to pollen formation and vitality and pollination in flowering crops. By reducing the flower abortion rate, Agro-B mobility OP increases the number of flowers. More fertilized flowers, more grains, and more fruits. Boron plays an important role in the structure of cell walls, synthesis of hormones, and the transfer of sugars toward fruits, roots, and grains. Boron facilitates the binding of atmospheric nitrogen. Boron increases calcium assimilation and mobility in the plant. Boron improves resistance to cold and hydric stress by regulating water input in cells. Sorbitol and ethanolamine, part of the Agro-B mobility OP solution, have proven anti-stress qualities (shortage of water, low temperature, salinity).
A boron deficiency can cause physiological disorders in several crops: hollow heart/brown heart in potato tubers, beet, turnip and rutabaga roots, and in broccoli and celery stalks; cork spot on apples; shatter (coulure) and hen-and-chicken (millerandage) in grapes. A lack of boron increases the risk of bitter pit in apples, because boron plays a key role in calcium uptake. A boron deficiency will therefore have a negative impact on marketable yields.
Agro-B OP can be used on a variety of crops according to agronomic recommendations and the specific needs of the fields.
